Position Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations for electrical supply parts, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient order fulfillment, and timely distribution. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to maintain operational excellence, optimize workflow, and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of electrical supply parts.
Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and operations teams to ensure timely stock replenishment and order fulfillment.
Develop and implement warehouse processes, layout optimization, and best practices for efficiency and safety.
Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) such as order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
Manage equipment maintenance and procurement for warehouse operations, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably in electrical supply, industrial parts, or related distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams of 10+ employees.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse environment with frequent lifting and moving of materials.
Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational demands.
