THE OPPORTUNITY
Davids Health Sciences seeks a VP of Marketing to lead our multi-channel growth strategy during a critical growth phase. This role requires proven experience building high-performing marketing programs across e-commerce, Amazon, and retail channels while maintaining premium brand positioning. In addition, this position requires deep expertise in brand strategy, creative management, media, retail marketing, community-driven marketing, digital performance marketing, and organic social and influencer marketing.
This customer-obsessed leader thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and has a bias for growth and action. He/She reports directly to the CEO and Founder Eric Buss. We're looking for an extraordinary marketing leader who can hit the ground running and bring strategic thinking, positivity, and analytical rigor to the pursuit of our mission and drive.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Execution
•\tMulti-Channel Growth: Drive top-of-funnel awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth across Amazon, retail, and DTC channels
•\tDTC P&L Management: Full responsibility for direct-to-consumer channel, focusing on acquisition, conversion, and customer lifetime value
•\tDevelop integrated annual marketing plan aligned with company growth targets
•\tChannel Davids brand strategy into cohesive creative campaigns that create "brand heat" and drive conversion
•\tExpert storytelling to drive awareness for Davids brand across all marketing channels and touchpoints
•\tIdentify and execute new marketing opportunities delivering significant revenue impact
•\tBuild strategic partnerships that enhance credibility and expand market reach
Channel Management & Execution
•\tRetail: Develop marketing programs that drive POS conversion and support buyer relationships
•\tDTC: Complete ownership of website UX, conversion optimization, retention programs, and subscription growth
•\tDigital: Performance marketing across paid social, Google, programmatic, and emerging channels with full agency resource
•\tAmazon: Channel optimization, agency support and top-of-funnel marketing
•\tBrand Leadership: Position Davids as the premium nHa alternative, educating consumers on health benefits vs traditional fluoride
•\tEstablish and deliver against clear ROI metrics across all marketing investments
Brand & Marketing Leadership
•\tManage creative briefing, development, and go-to-market execution
•\tPartner with Creative Director on brand storytelling that differentiates Davids in the competitive landscape
•\tDrive customer retention through loyalty programs, community building and innovative marketing strategies
•\tOversee comprehensive demand generation programs that build brand awareness and drive qualified leads
Team & Operations
•\tBuild and lead high-performing marketing team including current Senior Marketing Manager, working closely with Brand Director and Content Manager
•\tEnsure excellent execution across all marketing departments and agencies through strong project management and accountability systems
•\tManage strategic agency relationships for paid advertising, Amazon optimization, and lifecycle marketing
•\tPartner with Sales Director on integrated retail strategies and VP Operations on capacity and demand planning
•\tEstablish KPI frameworks and reporting systems for campaign performance
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
•\t10+ years marketing leadership in high-growth CPG companies
•\tProven track record growing DTC, Amazon, and retail channels in an entrepreneurial environment
•\tExperience scaling marketing during rapid growth phases
•\tSuccess managing P&L for digital commerce channels
•\tDemonstrated ability to craft compelling brand narratives and storytelling that drive customer engagement and loyalty
•\tProven experience launching market-changing innovations and breakthrough products in competitive categories
Expertise
•\tDeep knowledge of e-commerce, consumer behavior, and digital marketing best practices with strong analytical skills and experience in performance measurement and optimization
•\tAdvanced understanding of retail marketing, POS conversion drivers, and multi-channel CPG marketing strategies
•\tProven experience educating consumers on complex product benefits (health, wellness, or technical products) and scaling DTC channels while maintaining premium brand positioning
•\tExperience with subscription and retention marketing models combined with expertise in demand generation and top-of-funnel marketing strategies
•\tStrong storytelling aptitude with ability to shape compelling narratives that engage customers and drive conversion and loyalty
•\tExpertise in innovation marketing and introducing disruptive products that challenge established market categories
•\tDemonstrated success with limited resources and high-impact marketing
