Position Overview: University Hospitals Rehab Hospital in Beachwood, OH is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injury, surgery, or illness, with a focus on restoring function and improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized rehabilitation services in accordance with physician orders and patient care plans
• Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home care strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards

Qualifications:

• Valid professional license in the state of Ohio (PT, OT, RN, or other relevant discipline)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• CPR certification required
