A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide skilled nursing support across a middle school and elementary school caseload in a district with multiple sites. This contract position runs from January 2026 and involves itinerant responsibilities, assisting nurses and covering various locations as needed. The RN will work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, ensuring comprehensive health services within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health support to students in elementary and middle school settings.
• Assist and cover for other nurses across 12 school sites within the district.
• Manage individualized health plans, medication administration, and emergency care.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to promote student wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State RN license required.
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work across multiple sites.
• Ability to work independently and handle diverse nursing tasks.
• Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of various schools in the district.

Location:

• Onsite positions serving multiple schools within the district, based in Trumansburg, NY.
