A K-12 school in Blue Springs, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the health and well-being of its student population for the current school year (CSY). This contract position offers a meaningful opportunity to provide essential healthcare services in an educational setting, ensuring students receive timely and appropriate care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care including assessment, treatment, and follow-up for students.
• Manage chronic health conditions and respond to acute illness or injury.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student health plans.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working with children or in school-based settings preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• CPR and First Aid certification desirable.
