Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, with experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation. This role involves transporting goods and materials while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vehicles to transport freight and materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
• Experience operating forklifts and heavy equipment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures.
• Ability to perform minor automotive repairs is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
