Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Pharmacy Clerk to assist with front-end operations, customer service, and inventory management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Schedule:

• Mon-Fri: 12pm-8pm 

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Assist customers with general inquiries, OTC product recommendations, and transaction processing
• Handle cash register transactions, including sales, returns, and payments
• Organize and stock shelves, ensuring the pharmacy and register area is clean and well-maintained
• Assist pharmacy staff with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry and record-keeping
• Answer phones and direct customer inquiries to the appropriate pharmacy personnel
• Support prescription processing by verifying patient information, updating insurances and assisting in prescription retrieval
• Monitor and restock pharmacy supplies and front-end products as needed
• Assist in receiving and processing pharmacy inventory orders
• Setting up medication for in-person delivery
• Assist with execution of business non-Rx related services including, but not limited to, making copies, faxes, pepper-spray purchases, Lotto tickets, etc.
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies, HIPAA regulations, and state/federal guidelines
• May perform any number of additional duties in order to support the operation of the pharmacy and its personnel under the direct supervision of pharmaceutical staff

​ Qualifications:

• Will trained at job site or online, preferred if have pharmacy experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn and operate pharmacy software and POS systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a retail and healthcare setting
