Position Overview

The Mixologist will be responsible for preparing and serving exceptional cocktails, ensuring each guest receives outstanding service, and contributing creative ideas to enhance our drink program. This role blends technical bartending skills with genuine hospitality and a passion for delivering elevated guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails with precision, consistency, and pride in every drink.
• Engage guests with warmth and enthusiasm, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Learn and confidently speak about Claremont’s full range of spirits, sharing that knowledge as if they were your own creations.
• Recommend drinks tailored to guest preferences, enhancing their overall experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar throughout service.
• Contribute creative ideas for seasonal and signature cocktails that reflect Claremont’s brand.
• Embrace a “jack of all trades” mindset — from restocking and light prep to helping with events, merchandising, or other odd jobs, you’re eager to pitch in wherever needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team to deliver seamless service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and responsible service procedures in compliance with local regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years bartending experience. Craft cocktail experience preferred.
• Genuine passion for mixology and spirits, with a willingness to keep learning and growing.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sense of hospitality, with a focus on delivering top-tier guest experiences.
• A team player who takes pride in their work and maintains high standards.
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to take on a variety of tasks to support the team.
• Ability to work efficiently and positively in a fast-paced environment.
