We have a new opportunity for a PRN MDS Coordinator - $45/hour!
The MDS Coordinator will manage the overall process and tracking of all Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents in order to assure appropriate reimbursement for services provided within the facility. Conducts MDS reviews to assure maximum allowable RUG categories. Integrating information for nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure proper reimbursement.
Education/Training/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
Skill(s): Basic computer skills. Must have exceptional organization skills and the ability to multi-task.
Experience: Two years long term care clinical experience is required. Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, MDS completion, clinical resource utilization, and case management is highly desired.
