LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Manager for a local contract nursing job in King City, California.

Job Description & Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing – Required;;

• Bachelor degree or equivalent - Required;;

 

Work Experience:

• Minimum of (5) years RN experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a circulating RN in surgery – Required;;

• One year Post anesthesia care experience - Preferred;;

• Previous leadership, supervisory or management experience - Preferred;;

 

Licensing Requirements:

• Current California RN license - Required;;

• Current AHA BLS - Required;;

• Current AHA ACLS - Required;;

• Current AHA PALS - Required;;

 

Skill Requirements:

 

• Maintains composure while recognizing the need for immediate response to true emergencies.

• Ability to identify and evaluate problems in the surgical department and to implement short-term and long-term solutions.

 

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit and stand/walk for up to 4hours or more per day.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds 3 to 4 hours per day.

• Moderate exposure to hazardous waste and chemicals.

 

Special Demands:

• Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others.

• Must be able to delegate duties and maintain efficient standards of operations.

Special Considerations:

• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians and ancillary departments.
