Fire Protection Systems Technician
We are seeking a skilled and certified Fire Protection Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a strong understanding of various fire suppression and alarm systems. This role involves installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems, kitchen hood suppression systems, and fire extinguishers.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, and test fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with all local and national fire codes.
Perform routine maintenance and service on fire extinguisher units.
Install and service kitchen hood suppression systems for commercial clients.
Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm and suppression system issues.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Fire Sprinkler Panel License.
Proven experience working with fire suppression and life safety systems.
Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and other relevant fire safety codes.
Familiarity with fire extinguisher and kitchen hood suppression systems is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
