Job Description

Job Title: ERP Contractor (IFS Specialist)

Duration: 6–8 Months

Location: Remote

We are seeking an experienced IFS ERP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in IFS applications . The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in ERP configuration, integrations, reporting, and testing. This role involves close collaboration with technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery of ERP projects.
Core Technical Must-Haves
IFS Aurena Configuration: Page Designer, Lobbies, custom fields/actions, saved searches, etc.
Data Migration: Build and load templates, run Load IDs, validate results, create rollback plans.
Security Model: Manage users, roles, permission sets, context permissions, and access review evidence.
Report Designer: Validate layouts, configure print routing, complete promotion checklists with annotated PDFs.
Business Reporter / Information Sources: Build/modify sources, set measures/dimensions, create reconciliation reports, export UAT evidence.
Printing & Document Management: Print Agent routing, device mapping, invoice/pick list/label validation, environment parity checks.
Integrations & IFS Connect: Configure routing rules, queues, background jobs, error handling; handoffs to iPaaS/EDI.
REST APIs: Interpret Swagger/OpenAPI projections, test with Postman, handle OAuth 2.0, validate responses.
Testing & UAT: Develop risk-based test matrices, Given/When/Then scenarios, validate evidence, define exit criteria.
EDI Order-to-Cash: X12 850, 855, 856, 810, 997; manage control numbers, exceptions, and ERP mapping.
SQL for Validation: Create ERP views/reports, use joins/aggregates/date functions, reconcile golden datasets.
Cutover & Operations: Schedule background jobs, manage print queues, run smoke tests, support hypercare.
Technical Nice-to-Haves
Business Reporter / Information Sources for business validation & UAT
Workflow tools such as Novacura Flow/Connect
iPaaS exposure (e.g., Boomi, Novacura, Azure Logic Apps)
Power BI dashboards for UAT/defects tracking
