Golden Peak Media’s mission is to help fine artists and crafting artisans by inspiring, educating, and connecting them throughout their journey. Through streaming workshops, on-demand classes, print publications, trusted patterns, podcasts, competitions, and events, Golden Peak helps millions of people explore their passions and take their craft to the next level. We are seeking an Editorial Assistant to work closely with the editorial teams across magazines, newsletters and the web to support the growth of our brands and audience. This is a full-time position based in our Golden, CO office. Responsibilities Managing Projects Manage quilt project intake, including organization, documentation, paperwork, tracking, and return of quilts Manage quilt submissions: update submission spreadsheets with images and descriptions; notify contributors of declined submissions Operations Provide general office support, including handling mail, packages, and shipping needs Proactively maintain office supplies (shipping, general office) Maintain magazine archives and documentation (physical copies, update pattern names in Ed Track, maintain pattern index) Update internal tracking documents with pertinent information regarding quilt arrival and payment status Process biweekly editorial bulk payment (all magazine + digital contributors) Execute and send all GPM magazine and IC agreements + file when complete (includes articles, artwork, contributors, projects, jurors, ICAs and SOWs) Process and reconcile monthly Quilting Editorial receipts (department/credit card + shipping) Qualifications Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, or other content management systems Proficient written and verbal communication skills through phone, email, and in person Desire to provide excellent client service General Expectations 40-hour work week with three days per week in office Consistent communication regarding workflow and workload Strong attention to detail, excellent follow-through skills, and ability to work well with others while functioning independently Golden Peak Media Culture Golden Peak Media strives to offer a creative, energized, and supportive work environment, and so each of us is encouraged to contribute to our culture by: Being purposeful, strategic, and mindful with our decisions, words, and behaviors Cultivating an action mindset to create a successful future Being curious, taking risks, and learning by doing Sharing thoughts and ideas, embracing the notion that debate is healthy, and impassioned discourse leads to our best results Understanding that everybody sweeps: no task is too small for our team, and sweating the details matters #J-18808-Ljbffr Golden Peak Media: Creative Enthusiast Network
