Type: 1099 Contractor Position, Full-Time Commitment, Hybrid In-Office & Remote, Monthly Pay.

Overview

We are hiring a Market Development Specialist to support and grow our agencys network.

This role is all about connecting with the Laredo community and surrounding areas. You'll be a key part of our growth by building local relationships, doing grassroots marketing, and acting as a brand ambassador for our agency. Our main goal is to identify and meet the needs of the community, not just sell policies. We believe in building authentic relationships by listening more than we talk, noticing what people need, and finding ways to help.

• Generate Leads: Proactively identify and secure new client leads through creative marketing strategies, including direct outreach and appointment setting.
• Engage the Community: Build strong, authentic relationships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups, participating in or organizing at least one event weekly.
• Manage Digital Presence: Create and schedule engaging content for social media, email, and other digital platforms, leading efforts to enhance the agency's online visibility.
• Support Sales: Develop and execute marketing campaigns that drive engagement and interest, directly supporting the agency's sales efforts.
• Organize Events: Plan, coordinate, and attend educational workshops, community events, and networking gatherings to increase agency visibility and inform potential clients.
• Develop Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong referral partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
• Drive Initiative: Take ownership of projects, bringing new ideas to the table, conducting research, and proactively driving marketing initiatives.
• Track & Report: Continuously monitor and report on the results of all outreach and marketing efforts, using data to suggest improvements.

• At least one year of experience in marketing, networking, or community engagement.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively, even when working remotely.
• Proficient with social media platforms and comfortable with online event planning.
• Must reside in Laredo, TX, and be available to attend local events.
• Clean Background Check.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a resident of Texas.
• Bilingual - Spanish (Required).
