We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client's team on a contract basis in Beaverton, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing financial records and working with clients to ensure accurate bookkeeping practices. This role requires expertise in QuickBooks Online and a proactive approach to handling accounting tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and address recordkeeping challenges.

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial statements.

• Analyze profit and loss statements and develop detailed summaries.

• Assist with payroll processes, including payroll tax returns and W-2 forms when applicable.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure account accuracy.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles.

• Provide precise guidance to clients on improving their financial systems.

• Proven experience in bookkeeping with minimal need for training.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of its functionalities.
• Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare accurate and detailed financial statements.
• Experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including tax returns and W-2 forms.
• Comfortable working directly with clients to resolve recordkeeping issues.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and create actionable reports.
