Architectural/Interior Designer

Location: Hybrid – Remote & In-Person (Campbell, CA)
Schedule: Part-Time to Full-Time, Flexible Hours
Pay Range: $40–$50 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
Ammirato Construction is seeking a talented and technically skilled Architectural/Interior Designer to be the next key player in our organization. You’ll lead and coordinate our design department in high-end residential projects from concept through completion.
In this role, you’ll partner with clients to bring their vision to life while ensuring all design elements are fully developed before construction begins. You’ll balance creativity with technical expertise and be responsible for all facets of design, including:
Client meetings
Site measurements
Design development
Material specifications
Collaborating with trade partners
This position is ideal for a confident, detail-driven designer with strong building code knowledge, space planning skills, and the ability to thrive independently in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or certificate in Architecture or Interior Design
5+ years of residential design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Suite, or comparable software
Strong knowledge of building codes, planning processes, and construction techniques
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
Experience with site measures, photography, and identifying site conditions that affect design solutions
Proven ability to execute projects from initial consultation through completion
